JZ got her Bc. degree in Laboratory and Medical Biology at the University of South Bohemia (České Budějovice) in 2017. She has been working as a research assistent in the group of Josef Komenda since 2018. Among her professional skills are methods of protein biochemistry such as separation of proteins and protein complexes using native and denaturation PAGE, Western blotting, radioactive labelling of proteins, isolation of photosynthetic membranes and purification of proteins in native and denaturation modes, as well as cultivation of cyanobacteria and methods of genetic cloning.

JZ is on maternity leave at present.
