Our team focus on anoxygenic phototrophic bacteria. We apply high-throughput DNA and RNA sequencing, and high sensitive fluorescence microscopy for study ecology of anoxygenic phototrophs. In addition, we investigate utilization of light energy in laboratory cultures of phototrophic organisms and investigate the architecture of their photosynthetic complexes.
