Eliška´s research focuses on the organization of the photosynthetic apparatus in cyanobacteria and algae. During her Ph.D., she investigated light-harvesting antenna proteins and photoprotective mechanisms in photosynthetic organisms. She currently studies the spatial organization of thylakoid membranes, the biogenesis of photosynthetic complexes, and their dynamics using biochemical, spectroscopic, and advanced microscopy approaches.
