Sadanand´s academic and research background is in Botany with a specialisation in the Angiosperm Taxonomy and Physiology. After the postgraduation studies, he got hands on practice in biotechnology and molecular biology techniques. In 2025, Sada defended his Ph.D. thesis focused on the cyanobacterial photosystem I (PSI) biogenesis under the supervision Prof. Josef Komenda.
